Addiction, whether it is to drugs, alcohol, gambling, overeating, pornography, depression, or nicotine, can only be described in one word… BONDAGE, and bondage is slavery. The world today says, “once an addict, always an addict” but God says in the Bible “for now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder” (Nahum 1:13).

At Twelve Weeks to Freedom (TWTF) Cork, we conduct a twelve-week course that will enable anybody to be free from the bonds of their addiction. It does not matter what your addiction is, all of the truths still apply. This course, which is Bible-based, is taught by people who have been saved out of their addictions, and made free by the very information that you will receive.  This course will thoroughly cover the following topics:

I grew up in Ballincollig and started smoking hash and drinking alcohol at the age of 11. I progressed onto ecstasy and prescription tablets. I was 15 when I first smoked heroin. I went from smoking heroin the odd time to smoking it every day. For four years I was in and out of treatment centres, but none of them worked for me because they did not deal with the real problem that I was having. The problem was in my heart. Through the strong teachings of Jesus, I found real peace. The desire for drugs and alcohol was completely taken away from me! I am now three and a half years clean, married, and have a son! I would encourage anyone struggling with addiction to come out for the meeting on a Friday night in Ballincollig and see for yourself!

We also offer access to a one year men's home course in Tallaght which helped Scott tremendously.

The course is completely FREE, but it requires commitment. Twelve weeks, for 2 hours a week on Friday evenings for the main meetings, and a commitment of just a half hour a day, every day for the twelve weeks, for the homework.

Every person who completes the 12 week course will get a Certificate of Completion for the course. If you are struggling with addiction and would like to be free and restored again, then this course is for you.
