32nd church anniversary with 132 in attendance; 11 grandchildren; building fund update; Summer Bible Club and missions month
July 2026
Greetings from Ireland! I am writing you sitting in an airport in Dallas, Texas, on a quick trip through 3 States visiting my three new grandsons across America! My wife already came to the States to spend time with our daughters and be with the new grandbabies. But then my kids all got together and helped get me over here for some special family time with them as well! So I just finished visiting my oldest daughter, her husband and family and got to hold their new fourth child, Owen. I am now heading to visit my oldest son, his wife and family and spend a few days with their new-ish son named Benjamin. And then I will get to be with my youngest daughter and her husband who just had their first son, named Elias! Nita and I now have 11 grandchildren, and we can’t praise God enough! God is so good to us!
Our Church’s 32nd Anniversary. There were 132 souls in attendance; the weather was perfect (which is rare even for June); I had great liberty preaching; there were at least 10 first time visitors, and we all just had a great time together as a body of believers in love with following the Lord Jesus Christ in Cork! Thirty two years, Amen!
Progress on building purchase. Our teens worked hard and did a Car Wash for four Saturdays in May and raised $1,000! Everything counts towards the goal! With all that we have saved back and given, and with the mortgage that we are applying for, we are about $60,000 short. So, we will approach the owner with what we have and see what the Lord does in his heart. This is how we live by faith… trusting the leading of the Lord to buy this building, doing our best to give, and leaving the results to God! We should know soon if the building will be ours! We Thank all of you who have given towards this goal as well!
July is our big Evangelism push and Missions Emphasis month! My burden and goal for our church is to get every Christian actively answering this world’s issues with the power of the Gospel! So we will be doing a lot of extra evangelism and extra giving towards our Missionaries! A team from our church is helping a new church plant in Galway to get the Gospel out in their area and just be an encouragement there!
Our Children’s Summer Bible Club is 4 weeks away! The children will discover from Nehemiah that God is a Master-builder and wants to build their lives to last, and for good! God has a marvellous way of building and rebuilding what’s broken in each and every one of us. Every one of us are broken on the inside because of sin. God gave us His Son, Jesus to rebuild, and strengthen every boy and girl with a godly life! It is going to be a great week for the kids!
I remain your friend and fellow-servant,
Pastor Craig Ledbetter
