Dear Friend, Our annual October Fun Night is coming up! It will be held Tuesday, 31st October, 2006 at the Westgate Foundation, and will begin at 7pm, and end around 9pm. We will be having a wide selection of snacks, as well as games and activities to fill the evening with fun and fellowship together as God’s people! Please plan to arrive around 6.45pm so that we can get everything organized and start on time at 7pm. All children are invited to come dressed up as their favourite Bible character (adults can dress-up too if they wish). Nobody has to dress up, but it would be fun if people did. We will have a goodie-bag full of sweets for every child, so no one will leave empty-handed, and both young and old will enjoy the Christian time together. Please, we do not want to honour the devil by having witches and ghosts, and other evil characters show up, so encourage your children to use their imagination for good! Bible people include: Shepherds, Moses, Lydia (a seller of purple in Acts 16:14), Roman Soldiers, Angels, Miriam (sister of Moses with a basket in Exodus 2:4), Samson, King David, wise Solomon (have a long white beard maybe), Daniel, lions, sheep, Mr. Holy Bible (use a big box for this), Job (in sackcloth), Joshua (with his sword), and so on! There will be fun and games, food and testimonies, preaching and prayer – it will be a great time to just be thankful that we are saved from sin and Satan’s fear! Please bring anyone of your friends or family – they will have a great time, and most of all, they will hear the good news of how to be saved from Satan’s grip! Please use the sign-up sheet at Church on Sunday to let us know that you are coming.
