Verse 1

Noah watched the clouds gather out on the horizon

But the rain had not started to fall

All the earth and it’s people would suffer God’s judgment

Would they heed the preacher’s great call?

Noah stood alone with his family beside him

While for decades the mocking endured

But Noah obeyed and continued his mission

His faith, in God was assured

So, when Christians see the storm clouds gather

And God’s judgment soon will fall

We know we are safe in Christ Jesus our Lord

The Ark with the Door that is open for all

The Ark Door is open for all

The animals arrived by their twos and their sevens

All heeding the Lord’s command

But the people ran off in different directions

Lusting for their own heart’s demands

Verse 4

The time had now come and all were on board

God was now judging man’s sin

The rain started falling, floodwaters arose

The door closed, for God shut them in

Verse 5

Noah, his wife, and their children were saved

As the ark came to rest on dry ground

They sacrificed, praised and replenished the earth

In His bow, God’s promise they found
