Correct.

It is all by God's great GRACE that saves a sinner. Our faith is us trusting God's provision (through the death of Jesus in our place) to provide us full and free pardon for all our sins! If God wasn't gracious towards us, no amount of faith or works would make any difference at all!

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8,9
