6. Define ‘repentance’
Hating the sins you do, and accepting your guilt before God
To repent is to be sorry for your sins you have done, and to accept your guilt, and to HATE having done those sins, and realise just how helpless and empty you are as you stand before God!
Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes. Job 42:6
Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions. Ezekiel 18:30
Testifying both to the Jews, and also
to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
