Dear Believer.
You claim that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible word of the
living God. You claim it is completely true from cover to cover. You claim it
contains a trustworthy historical record of the life, death and resurrection of
Jesus of Nazareth and so can be relied upon to convey in a reliable way the will
of God for the purpose of the salvation of the human soul. I have read the Bible
from Genesis to Revelation and considered your claims. I have seven simple
questions for you...
Bible Believer:
First of all, these are anything BUT simple
questions to ask someone. Notice the fact that this is a 27 page (did you notice
that? TWENTY SEVEN PAGES), single-spaced,
small print booklet that is presented like it is a simple set of questions! The
author (Brian) knows that the issues he raises are
NOT simple, yet appeals to readers with the idea that it is “easy” to overturn
the reliability of the Bible. Nothing could be further from the truth.
