Seventeen
years ago, in a very different Ireland, a young man opened the doors of
an old building in Blarney, County Cork, having personally invited
hundreds of people to come hear the Bible's timeless message of
salvation from the coming wrath of God! It was a beautiful June day that
first Sunday, and a small group gathered in that Hall and heard the
wondrous story of Jesus, only from the Bible! Every Sunday, a few more
people would come, and the Bible would be preached with passion! Soon,
the hearers of God's word would become doers, and bow their knee to
Jesus alone in child like faith, asking Him to forgive them of all their
sins! And so began the Bible Baptist Church of Blarney! But our history is not finished! We are still growing, and going for the Lord Jesus... and YOU are invited to come along and see what the Bible still speaks about to this generation! Sunday the 12th of June will be a very special day that we would like to share with anyone in the area who would like to see how Jesus has changed our lives and fixed our families and homes by His grace! Everyone is invited, and you won't be disappointed!
