Meet Craig

When I was 17, I met someone who told me straight-up that I was “the lost sinner that Jesus died for!” I was shocked. I had been in various churches growing up, learned to say my prayers, and thought of myself as a pretty good person. But I never knew that Jesus came and died to save a sinner like me! I was invited to a nearby Baptist Church to hear what the Bible said about God’s forgiveness. It was there that the pastor told me how I could be born all over again, on the inside! I knew that on the inside, I was a sinner in God’s eyes. And I knew that I could never be good enough for heaven. So, on the evening of June 15th, 1980, while sitting at a friend’s kitchen table, I prayed to God and owned-up to my sinfulness, and accepted the finished work of Jesus Christ as the perfect payment for all my sin! Since that day, Jesus Christ has been my life, and my Lord, and I praise His name! He has not only given me forgiveness, but also my wonderful wife, 5 children and 4 grandchildren so far! Now I get to spend my life Pastoring the Bible Baptist Church of Ballincollig, telling people the wonderful news that Jesus can save even them, just like He did ME!
