What is Our Church Like?

You are very WELCOME to attend the Bible Baptist Church of Ballincollig!
Truly our heart’s desire is that you would enjoy your visit with us, as we study the precious words of our Saviour!

What You Will Find Here!

First and foremost, you will find a practical study of God’s word, the Bible! Our attention is not on outward rituals, holydays, statues, nor the Mass, but rather the clear and plain teaching of the Bible as we seek to honour and glorify the Lord Jesus! There will be plenty of songs, puppets, games, and a lot of fun for everybody as we learn from God’s holy word. It definitely will not be "schooling" or "lectures," but interaction, and enjoyment because Jesus said in John 8:32, "ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Every Sunday, we meet two times - at 10.30am and then again at 6pm
(remember, Sunday is the Lord's Day, all day long)

The order of our weekly 10.30 am morning meeting is simple:

1. First we start off singing hymns and praises to the Lord for His goodness to us, and of His so great salvation that is available to all!
2. Next, children ages 12 and under are dismissed to their Sunday School classes, while the adults remain and begin their study time! The children’s lesson can include puppets, and other teaching aids. The children remain in their class for the remainder of the meeting.
3. Following the Sunday School session there will a ten minute break where you can get you a cup of tea or coffee, and can get acquainted with the other people here.
4. After the break, we rejoin for more singing, followed by the teaching and preaching of the word of God: not man’s opinions, nor conjectures, but clear and plain instruction with everyone having a Bible and seeing the for themselves what it says!
5. Following the meeting, there will be time for more tea and fellowship.

The order of our weekly 7 pm evening meeting is also simple:

1. There is a time of hymn singing to prepare us for the preaching.
2. The Teenagers are then dismissed to their class with Kevin O'Keeffe teaching.
3. We then get right down to business, studying the truths of God in His word!
4. Every once in a while, there will be a time of questions and answers for one and all! Feel free to come and ask anything that may be puzzling you. Together, all will see God’s answers from the Bible!

Our Message

There is no message more important than the one that tells you how to get to heaven! Jesus said in John 3:7, "Ye must be born again" because, "there is none righteous, no not one" (Romans 3:10). Therefore, "the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10). "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8,9). Be saved today!
