According to 2 Peter 3:9, "God is not willing that any should perish..." - that is correct enough, but there is something that God has provided that allows us to get saved.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8,9
