3.        The word Ďdiscipleí means what?


There are plenty of religious zealots in all religions. A true disciple doesn't just believe anything that's taught to tell.

The Jews were very zealous, but very wrong.

Brethren, my heartís desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of Godís righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.  Romans 10:1-3


Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew 11:28,29

And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Acts 11:26

And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. Acts 6:7

The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. Matthew 10:24
